The Canadian High Commission in London’s processing times for federal skilled workers visas has reduced significantly, with published processing statistics for applications finalised between April 2006 and March 2007 ranging from 29 months to 55 months going to 31 to 38 months between October 2006 and September 2007. Business files have reduced slightly from 37 to 67 months to 29 to 66 months.

These processing times are only an estimate and they are very dynamic in nature. Factors influencing the processing times are the levels of inventory for the particular class and in relation to other classes, the volume of new applications for the particular class and in relation to other classes, changing priorities vis-￠-vis other classes for the particular visa office, etc.
